This year we'll be running the event online again to ensure we can maximise our attendance and conduct the evening in the safest possible way.
With a bit of luck by Saturday, 13th November you'll be able to get together with your team in person and join in the fun with everyone else online.
If you took part last year, you already know the drill.
If you didn't, it's super easy, you can purchase your tickets at www.triviascore.com, once purchased you will receive an email that will give you a link to the Zoom meeting for the trivia night.
On the night you will be allocated to a Zoom break out room for your team, during the night there will be 5 rounds of questions and once each round of questions is read out to everyone you will be split in to your breakout rooms to deliberate.
There'll be plenty of prizes up for grabs so make sure you get your friends and family together and join the Ivanhoe Harriers biggest annual event from the comfort of your own home!
As Athletics Victoria are unsure what is to come in the following weeks, regarding community lockdowns, they have decided to cancel the remainder of the Winter Season.
Athletics Victoria have decided to cancel this weekend's XCR Round scheduled for Ballarat due to the limited administration timeframe post lockdown as well as the inclement weather predicted.
The cancellation has now led to review of the remainder of the XCR season plans.
Athletics Victoria have issued the following update regarding rounds 4 and 5:
Please be advised that due to the current restrictions still in place across Regional Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne (as of 17 June), Athletics Victoria has decided to reschedule the 12km individual round at Cruden Farm from Saturday 26 June to Saturday 10 July 2021.
This change means that, unfortunately, the Sandown Relays will be cancelled. The 12km individual round will replace the relays on the XCR calendar. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and offer reassurances that we continue to work with the necessary authorities to provide opportunities in the future.
In response to the announcement by the Victorian government this morning, Round 3 of XCR at St Anne's, scheduled to be held next Saturday, June 5, has been rescheduled and is now set to take place on Saturday, August 7.
Given that the scheduled end of the announced lockdown is Friday, June 4, the timeline to deliver Round 3 of XCR at St Anne's as planned would be highly constricted.
Round 4 of XCR, scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 26, at Cruden Farm, is expected to go ahead as planned, pending any further decisions made by the Victorian government.
Luckily, we were just able to fit in our AGM last night before lockdown was reimposed.
Several awards were handed out on the night:
